Using a large, Pacific Green Snail shell, Stuart Quandelacy honored the shell, the Corn Maiden and the Grandmother in this graceful piece. Standing 5 1/2 inches tall, Stuart used the rich green section of the shell perfectly for the shawls of the two women. He included his signature prayer basket with corn, made of pink and red coral at the base of the carving and he incised dragonflies, stars and traditional Zuni designs. He also inlayed natural turquoise, coral, and opal throughout the sculpture. Stuart's father was Dickie Quandelacy(d) and his mother is Amy Wesley, both very talented Zuni artists. This Corn Maiden and Grandmother piece with prayer basket, measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches at its widest dimension.  $385.  Free Shipping in USA.   No Tax.
