Veronica Poblano is the daughter of Leo Poblano (d), the renown carver from Zuni Pueblo. Veronica learned from him in her early years and was influenced by him as well as Zuni silversmiths to create her own distinct pieces. Whether it’s fetishes or jewelry, Veronica’s work is unique and innovative. This mother of pearl bird is sitting on a piece of Zuni sandstone. It is carrying a cache of natural turquoise chips and has turquoise inlay in natural holes in the shell. A lovely, whimsical creation. Veronica’s classic signature on a sterling tab is located under the tail. Measures 3 inches long x 2 3/4 inches high. $315. No Tax. Free Shipping in the USA.
